SUSTAINABLE
& ECO-FRIENDLY FABRICS

ORANGE FABRIC

Made from the peels and wastage of orange, this natural fiber gives the feel of silk fabric - soft, shiny, lightweight, silky hand feel.

This fabric drapes beautifully and by it's natural is an anti-wrinkle fabric.

ALOE VERA FABRIC

We all know aloe vera - its soft, mushy gel. But how exactly is a fabric made from that mushy gel?

Well, the fabric itself is made from organic cotton or any other regular fiber, but once it is weaved, a particular finishing in the fabric is done where small microcapsules of aloe vera are embedded into the cloth. The capsules are only opened once the cloth is worn and its content (aloe gel) is directly applied to the skin.

ROSE PETAL FABRIC

Made from the natural waste of rose petals and rose bushes the fabrics made from rose petal is quite lustrous. A perfect alternative for silk.

The rose by its nature is natural sunscreen as it contains vitamin C, hence the fabrics made from rose are excellent protection again UV rays.

CORN FABRIC

Corn is a plant with lots of starch, the starch is converted into a paste which is then converted into the fiber.

Corn fiber has a high melting point and the fiber has good strength which is why often corn replaces the use of synthetic fabrics. This fabric is used in sportswear, knitwear, socks, outer garments.

BANANA FABRIC

Banana fabric, as the name suggests is made from banana-not the fruit part, but the outer and inner peel -the stem part of the plant with lots of fiber.

India is one of the largest producers of organic banana fabric, the fabric in the front is soft and shiny like silk and the backside is rough with textures.

Most commonly used in scarfs, hats and even dresses can be made from this fabric.

SOYABEAN FABRIC

Often known as vegan-cashmere, soybean fabric is one of the most eco-friendly fabrics out there.

The fabric has excellent drape and high elasticity, it feels like silk and does not wrinkle or shrink.

The fabric is soft, lightweight, and naturally UV-resistant with anti-microbial properties.

LOTUS FABRIC

A perfect blend of silk and linen the lotus fibers are made from the stem of the plant which is quite fibrous, the fabric made from lotus is waterproof (due to the plant's very own nature) and this is also stain resistant.

The fabric is considered luxury due to its craftsmen ship involved in making the fabric.

BAMBOO FABRIC

Fabric from bamboo is being made for thousands of years, but only recently it has caught the eyes of the world.

EUCALYPTUS FABRIC

Clothes made from eucalyptus fabric are typically made from lyocell fabric. (The process of making lyocell fabric is turning the woods of the tree into pieces which are then converted into pulp and with help of solvents it is converted into a viscous liquid, which is pushed through spinnerets to make fibers).

The fabric is quite absorbent and soft handfeel.

SUGARCANE

Once the juice is extracted from the sugarcane, what we are left with is sugarcane pulp, known as bagasse.

Similar to eucalyptus fiber production, the bagasse is broken and converted into viscose-like material from which the fibers are produced.

The fabric has a good drape and soft handfeel.
